Product Overview
The Off-Grid Smart Bike Parking Station is the battery-powered version of the Bikeep smart bike parking station, for sites with no mains electricity. In place of an electrical cabinet, a Battery Box at one end of the row holds two 12 V AGM deep-cycle batteries connected in series for a 24 V system. On a 5-dock station, the batteries last about 0.7–1.4 years, depending on settings, usage and temperature. Batteries are not included: the operator buys them locally (12 V AGM, 90 Ah or higher). Riders lock their bike with the Bikeep app by scanning the QR code on the dock, or with a 13.56 MHz NFC card. The station connects over 4G/LTE with a global SIM, so operators get alerts in the Bikeep Console, over-the-air firmware updates and remote unlock. A station takes 5 to 20 docks; 5 and 10 are the standard sizes. The build is modular and can be relocated. It is for parking only: e-bike charging and the security camera are not available on the off-grid build.
