Product Overview
The Bike Pool Station lets an employer, campus or public agency run a pool of shared bikes on standard Bikeep smart docks. Bikes are taken and returned at the same station (A-to-A). You supply the bikes, and they can be any type or style. Only people you allow can unlock a dock. They tap an allowlisted NFC access card, or unlock with the Bikeep app once an admin has added their phone number to the allowlist. Admins add or remove cards in the Bikeep Console, and add app users one by one, by bulk upload or through the API. Each station ships with 3 master cards that let staff release or move bikes. This is an access control system, not a bike tracking system. Console reports show which dock was opened, when, and by which card or app user. They show dock openings, not rentals: the station does not detect whether a bike is in a dock, where it is, or whether it came back. It suits closed groups of known, accountable users with a clear return rule, not public bike sharing. Requires a connected service plan. Limits apply.
